Amy High

Amy High (1963-2003) was an outstanding active Latin teacher in the northern Virginia area. Her elementary Latin program was featured in Time magazine and on the Oxygen network. She was also the founder of Lumina, a nonprofit publishing company of Latin materials for young learners. She was a loving wife to her husband, Tim, and a loving mother to her three children, Maddy, Josh, and Phoebe. Scholarships for Latin teachers have been established in her name, and information can be found atwww.AmyHigh.org.
