art & commerce
By Andrew Oyé - August 25, 2010
In these modern times, many creators wallow in a constant struggle at
the intersection where art meets commerce. Much art is left unseen or
unheard -- not because it is unworthy, but -- because the commercial
powers of distribution are unaware or unsupportive of it. To be clear,
"undiscovered" art is, nonetheless, still art; it is simply
uncelebrated...in a celebrity-obsessed culture such as ours.
