Ashley Rhodes-Courter

Ashley Rhodes-Courter wrote this book as a way to piece together the puzzle of her past and also to thank those who step up for child welfare issues every day. An advocate for adoption and foster care reform, twenty-two-year-old Ashley has been featured in Teen People, Glamour, and USA Today. This memoir began as an essay, also titled "Three Little Words," which won a writing contest for students, and ran in New York Times Magazine. Ashley lives in Florida and is a recent graduate from Eckerd College.
