Candace Camp is a New York Times and USA TODAY bestselling author of more than sixty novels of contemporary and historical romance, including the bestselling Regency romances Treasured, The Marrying Season, and A Summer Seduction. She grew up in Texas in a newspaper family, which explains her love of writing, but she earned a law degree and practiced law before making the decision to write full time. A. Do your best.

Q. If you could be any person or thing, who or what would it be?

A. I think maybe one of the dogs I've had because they're very pampered and are also the happiest and most loving creatures I've ever been around.

Q. What’s your greatest fear?

A. going blind

Q. Which living person do you most admire?

A. I never thought I would say this, but I admire Elizabeth Taylor. She's weathered a lot of unhappiness and seems to have maintained her balance and she's done a great deal of good with her work on behalf of AIDS patients.

Q. What’s your fantasy profession?

A. My utmost fantasy profession, which would entail changing just about everything about me, would be a musical theater star (especially in the thirties and forties.)
