A. There's no great big scoreboard in the sky.

A. The path I've taken is richly satisfying, but at times I yearn to have gone the path of study and research in science or medicine, pushed out against the unknown, and added to the known.

A. exactly where I am, sitting at my desk with my dog and cat under foot

A. Alexander Fleming because he was not a genius, but was a patient observer who didn't discard a contaminated Petri dish; Albert Einstein because of his slow early development and school problems, and because of his passionate pursuit of knowledge, and his humility and awe regarding the secrets of the cosmos
