Caryl McAdoolives in Red River County, Texas, where she brags the nearest soda pop or gasoline is almost ten miles from home. In the country setting of the Texas piney woods, she enjoys four wheeling over the 916-acre McAdoo Ranch, horseback riding, and caring for donkeys, dairy goats, chickens, and a plethora of dogs and cats. Caryl credits her relationship with the Lord for every good blessing in her life, including ten children (counting “in-loves”) and fourteen grandsugars. Her heart’s desire is to bring Him glory.

Q. What is your motto or maxim?

A. No deal is a good deal unless everyone walks away blessed!

Q. What are your 5 favorite songs?

A. A hard one because I love so many songs When my daughter was about five or six, she was riding in the backseat with a little friend while I sand with the radio. I heard her say to her playmate, "My mama knows all the owrds to all teh songs, even the ones she hasn't heard." But if I must : 1) To God Be The Glory 2) Walk Hand In Hand With Me (our wedding song) 3) Amazing Grace 4) Hallelujah Chorus 5) Blessed Assurance

Q. What is your greatest achievement?

A. Marrying Ron McAdoo! And having Simon and Schuster publish my book(s?)!

Q. What’s your best quality?

A. Loving people unconditionally - but being a guardian of the Truth - I must give credit to Whom it is due, and it is only because God loves me so and lives in me that I can love at all.

Q. If you could meet any historical character, who would it be and what would you say to him or her?

A. Ah, another easy one! David, King of Israel! I'd say, "Oh how I've longed to praise and worship the great I AM with you!"
