Q. What is your motto or maxim? A. I used to think I wanted to be a serious artist. Then I realized I didn't want to be a serious anything. Q. What is your greatest achievement? A. Surviving teenagerhood to become a functional adult. Q. What do you regret most? A. Not traveling more before I had children. Q. If you could be anywhere in the world right now, where would you choose to be? A. Somewhere warm with crystal blue water, riding a horse on the beach. Q. If you could meet any historical character, who would it be and what would you say to him or her? A. I would love to hang out and drink absinthe with all the debauched writers and artists in Montmartre in the mid-19th century. "Pass the absinthe," is probably what I would say the most.
