A. I've owned several small companies and have coached business owners as well as individuals. While doing that, I've run several people for elective office, serving as well as a lobbyist for different conservative interests.
A. I love being an author. I love coaching, through my writing.
A. I am the Two-year Man! Two years at Mt. Clemens High School, Michigan. Two years at West Covina High School, California. I attended the US Military Academy, West Point, NY for two years and then completed my final two years of college, gaining my degree at Califronia Polytechic University, Pomona, Ca.
A. Two: George Frideric Handel and Keith Green
A. Three: Citizen Kane, Man Who Shot Liberty Valance & Tombstone
A. Two: The Simpsons and Meet The Press
A. Mine is a passionate life of progress.
A. I am a creative, complete and connected man.
A. Happiness is not what I desire. Joy is. Joy comes from being thankful for all that we have AND all that we do not have. My joy comes from appreciating God's love and His faithfulness to each of us - even when we don;t believe in Him.
A. It used to be the death of one of my children. When my son, Nate, died, I had to come to grips with that fear, embrace it and realize that it no longer has power over me.
A. Right where I am in Idaho. It's beautiful, wild and wonderful. I've traveled the world and love Israel and Europe, but Idaho has its arms around my shoulders, welcoming me home from each international trip.
A. Meriwether Lewis and William Clark. They were amazing adventurers who scientifically discovered the land that became western America's homes, farm and cities. Their co-leading of the Corps of Discovery is a great example of leadership for each of us today.
A. My bride, Susan. She was the first of her family line to graduate from college and to teach school. She married me with only a vision and a series of vague goals and has helped me turn those into life-changing eternally impactful accomplishments.
A. I don't use over used words or phrases. I find them to be too over used and when I attempt to overuse the word "overuse" I realize that it may come off over used....tee hee. (Read my books and YOU tell me!)
A. I have learned to regret nothing. Past bad decisions are deeply powerful teachers for the present and future.
A. I think I'd like to paint. That would be so much like writing. The word pictures as an author would become shaded images on the canvas. I think that would be really creative.
A. In years past I would have offered up political examples, business projects or something I did when I was a Christian leader in the 1990's. But like Bill said to Socrates as Ted listened on, "All they are is dust in the wind, dude, dust in...in..the..wind". No, my greatest accomplishment is in loving my bride as Christ loves His church. Either faith is real and lasts eternally or there is no prupose in living on this earth for even the 70 or 80 years we may have. The best is yet to come.
A. I can be a real jerk when I'm tired. "Putting Dennis to sleep" has a whole new meaning when I'm an idiot. Ha.
A. Like a floating Ed Wynn bumping up against the ceiling in Mary Poppins' magical world, I love to laugh. I am also an encourager.
A. I'm grateful I am me.
A. I think my eyes are fairly noticeable, when people meet me. I love to speak through my eyes.
A. Tom Doniphon - the actual "Man who shot Liberty Valance".
A. Vito Corleone from The Godfather.
A. I'd like to meet Mark Twain. I'd ask him why he REALLY waited for a century to have his Autobiography published - with all his straight forwardness during his lifetime, why did he fail in his courage to tell people what he really thought of them and their lives when he was alive? May we all have "short accounts" with people today, during our lifetimes.
A. It's a simple theological one. Religious people read on, non-religious people skip this. Scripture quotes Jesus as saying that "where ever two or more are gathered, there am I". He was clearly talking about establishing truth as the Old Testament directed the Jews to do (hence the two or more witnesses). He IS Truth. Therefore he is there with them, establishing himself. BUT Christians often say, "Hey we have two or more among us, Jesus is here." Hmm. So when i was alone and prayed to him too enter my life, I should have had one or two more people with me? Hmm. It's a wee bit ill-thought-out, I'd say.
A. I love to Coach people. Business or personal coaching is a wonderful thing to see change people's lives.
A. I live my life. There is nothing better than what I do and who I am in doing it.
A. I appreciate vulnerability, brokenness and healing.
A. C'mon on, did you even have to ask that? In-N-Out Double-Double with fries and lemonade. That's what a hamburger's all about!
A. Beautiful Boy by John Lennon, Immigrant's Song by Led Zeppelin, Asleep in the Light by Keith Green, What a Wonderful World by Israel "IZ" Kamakawiwo'ole, The Alamo Theme - the Green Leaves of Summer by Dimitri Tiomkin & Paul Francis
A. Tim Sanders Brock and Bodie Thoene John Eldredge Bobb Biehl Randy Alcorn Mario Puzo Mark Burnett Edmund Morris CS Lewis Stephen Ambrose

A. Heaven by Randy Alcorn
A. Write every day: journal, blog or dull a pencil, but write every day.
A. "I started reading Beautiful Nate and didn't stop till the book was finished."
