Erin Doland: Unclutter Your Life in One Week
My Life in 8 Words
Q. What is your motto or maxim?
A. Carpe Vitam -- Seize Life
Q. If you could be anywhere in the world right now, where would you choose to be?
A. Swinging in a hammock on the beach with my husband on the island of Kauai, Hawaii, or snuggling under a blanket next to a fire in a ski chateau in the Alps.
Q. What do you regret most?
A. Turning down an in-person interview with Johnny Cash to go out on a date to see a Semisonic concert. This happened in 1996 or 1997, and I think even the members of Semisonic would agree I made the wrong choice.
Q. If you could eat only one thing for the rest of your days, what would it be?
A. Pomme frites dipped in Bearnaise sauce (which would make those very few days)
Q. If you could meet any historical character, who would it be and what would you say to him or her?
A. My paternal great grandfather Edward Rooney. He was born in 1887 and was one of the greatest criminal attorneys in Kansas history, if I'm to believe what my 100 year old grandmother says about him. I'd simply ask him to tell me stories about his life.
