Q. What is your motto or maxim?

A. I want it to be: Live free, write hard.

Q. If you could eat only one thing for the rest of your days, what would it be?

A. PASTA!

Q. What’s your greatest flaw?

A. I'm stubborn. It's great when things work out, not so great when they don't.

Q. If you could meet any historical character, who would it be and what would you say to him or her?

A. I'd like to meet John F Kennedy and tell him not to go to Dallas November 22 1963.

Q. What are your 5 favorite songs?

A. I can't say they change from week to week from mood to mood. I do like Radiohead, the Foo Fighters, Coldplay, Wilco and Ryan Adams.
