A. Employed by Oprah, travelling the world interviewing remarkable creative women about their work and lives.

Q. What are your most overused words or phrases?

A. In speech: "Like..." (shudder, I know) In my writing: too many to keep track. I am working on diversification!

Q. Which living person do you most admire?

A. Vandana Shiva, Aung San Suu Kyi, Jane Goodall, Barbara Kingsolver and my daughters.
