My Life in 8 Words

Author Revealed

Q. What is your motto or maxim?

A. Progress, not perfection.

Q. What’s your greatest fear?

A. That I won't utilize all the talents and opportunities I have. I've done well with writing books, but I'd like to do more with songwriting, solo singing, and playing musical instruments.

Q. What’s your fantasy profession?

A. Guide for the National Parks Service.

Q. What’s your greatest flaw?

A. I'm a little hard on myself, and start a lot of days thinking that I haven't done enough or done it well enough. (This might be part of my obsessive-compulsive disorder.) Once I get into the day's activities, the mental hamster stops running around in that wheel.

Q. What are your 5 favorite songs?

A. Some of my favorites are "The Field Behind the Plow" by Stan Rogers, "Heart Alone" by Bill Staines, and "The Artist in Me" by Dave Mallett. All three inspire me in my creative work.
