Q. What are your most overused words or phrases? A. Awesome. Seriously. I also use parentheses way too much (or maybe just enough). Q. What’s your greatest fear? A. Not being liked. A close second would be admitting my greatest fear. Q. Who is your favorite fictional villain? A. This is hard, because I love villains. I often root for them if they’re more interesting than the hero. The first ones who come to mind are David Bowie’s Goblin King from LABYRINTH, and the Phantom from PHANTOM OF THE OPERA. They were so fascinating and tempting and offered such magic. Q. What is your biggest pet peeve? A. When people name their pet peeves and it turns out to be something that I do.
