John Ralston Saul

John Ralston Saul is the president of PEN International and an award-winning essayist and novelist. He holds a PhD from King’s College (London) and has written extensively about North Africa and Southeast Asia. He is the recipient of the Governor General’s Award, the Chevalier de l’Ordre des Arts et des Lettres de France, the Pablo Neruda International Presidential Medal of Honour, and the Premio Letterario Internazionale, among others. He lives in Toronto.
