Q. What is your motto or maxim? A. "Write a little every day without hope or despair" -- Isak Dinesen Q. What do you regret most? A. My misspent youth. Q. If you could meet any historical character, who would it be and what would you say to him or her? A. Andre Trocme, a French pastor who led a very courageous and nonviolent resistance during World War II.  I would thank him for inspiring me with his courage, and his faith, and ask him how he overcame his fear in order to do what he knew was best.
