Queen Pen, author of Situations, a collection of short stories, is a columnist for The Source magazine. A protégée of producer Teddy Riley, she topped the charts as the female voice in Blackstreet's smash hit "No Diggity." She released two albums, My Melody (1997) and Conversations with Queen (2001), respectively taken on by famed labels Interscope and Motown Records. Her latest album, Blossom, titled after this novel, will be released in May 2006 with Travio/Fountana Universal Records. She lives in Brooklyn, New York.
