Author Revealed

Q. If you could acquire any talent, what would it be?

A. The talent for acquiring talents. (Talent Acquisition Tooth Fairy says, "Sorry, no fair.") OK, the ability to remember anything I read.

Q. If you could eat only one thing for the rest of your days, what would it be?

A. Broccoli, steamed lightly, with a little lemon. Or Brussels sprouts, small ones, please, cooked only until they're bright green. Or Golden Globe tomatoes, raw. But I couldn't eat only one thing for the rest of my life. I would die of chocolate withdrawal.

Q. What are your 5 favorite songs?

A. That's like asking what's on your iPod. Gigs of music are on mine, and I change favorites all the time. If I'm writing at home, I usually play something that will help me focus on the emotion of the scene.

Q. What’s your fantasy profession?

A. Something where I work with my hands. I've actually been offered a job as an upholsterer.
