Author Revealed

Q. What trait is most noticeable about you?

A. My accent, which is the remnant of a speech defect that was retrained by a man who had studied in London.

Q. What’s your fantasy profession?

A. Something where I work with my hands. I've actually been offered a job as an upholsterer.

Q. If you could be any person or thing, who or what would it be?

A. Me, only better. More focused, more organized, more loving, more able to Just Say No to More Books. Failing that, when I grow up I would like to be a well-fed cat in the sunlight.

Q. What’s your best quality?

A. I listen.
