Author Revealed

Q. If you could meet any historical character, who would it be and what would you say to him or her?

A. Shakespeare. I would say, "Well? Who did it? And can I watch rehearsal?"

Q. Who is your favorite fictional villain?

A. So many to choose from. Severus Snape, because he's so complex, much more interesting than Voldemort. Richardson's Lovelace in CLARISSA, both hero and villain.

Q. What is your biggest pet peeve?

A. There's this girl I know who, anytime there's a conversation that goes on for more than five minutes, she has her iPhone out and she's checking mail. Hello? Person here?

Q. What is your favorite occupation, when you’re not writing?

A. Thinking about writing. Reading... But I do a lot of things: garden, knit, do altered photography, make jewelry, sculpt things. I love to repair almost anything and I love going to yard sales. I usually have a basement full of chairs, and I even wrote a poem about reupholstering a chair.
