A View of the World
By Serge Kahili King - March 9, 2011
The world is what I think it is, but it is also not what I think it is. This is the only reason I can change it from what it is to something else. I live in a forest, and I think I know it very well. Just now a tree fell down of its own accord. I went to look at it and discovered that it is a type of tree I don't even recognize. On the way back from looking at the tree I saw a vine with small, pretty orange flowers growing out of another tree, and I never saw that vine or those flowers before. Now I don't even know if this is the same forest I was living in yesterday. Or the same world.
