Yolonda Tonette Sanders
My Life in 8 Words
Q. What is your motto or maxim?
A. Thanks to Tony Horton from P90X, I find myself saying "Do your best and forget the rest," a lot.
Q. What is your biggest pet peeve?
A. I don't like to see people eat meals without washing their hands or at least putting on hand sanitizer. I'm not sure this is the biggest, but it is definitely up there!
Q. If you could be anywhere in the world right now, where would you choose to be?
A. Probably Hawaii. I have never been, but heard it is beautiful and would like to check it out one day.
Q. What’s your greatest fear?
A. I honestly have no idea. Maybe failing my children somehow.
Q. What are your 5 favorite songs?
A. Lol. My husband would probably say my "favorite" songs continually change. However, there are five that are consistently on the list. "I Almost Let Go," by Kurt Carr because it reminds me of how good God has been to me. "Still Say, Thank You" by Smokie Norful because it represents how I feel about God. "He Loves Me" by Jill Scott because it makes me think of my husband. "In Times of Trouble" because it's the theme song for my novel. "Cupid Shuffle" because I like doing the dance.
