My Life in 8 Words

Author Revealed

Q. What is your motto or maxim?

A. Love never gives up.

Q. What’s your fantasy profession?

A. I would love to be a wedding planner.

Q. With whom in history do you most identify?

A. I've never really thought about that. I think women throughout history can identify with one another.

Q. How would you describe perfect happiness?

A. Perfect happiness is a choice. Life is full of ups and downs and some how we think if some certain things happen in our lives, then we will be happy - if I just lose 10 pounds, if I just get this project, if I just make more money, if I just...

Stop waiting for perfect happiness. You can have it now. Can you choose to see each moment of your life as a blessing, to try to remember how fortunate you are to simply be alive?

Perfect happiness is not is a collection of the "big stuff" that happens in our lives, but how we choose to live and do the everyday "little stuff."

I love the perfect happiness that comes after a long day full of laughter and fun, full of struggles and victories. For me, perfect happiness comes late at night when the house is quiet and my children and husband are sleeping comfortably. I can feel the calm. And in that moment and with the other moments in my life, I can choose to be happy!

Q. What is your biggest pet peeve?

A. Being late makes me crazy, all though I am often late myself and I hate to leave the house without my bed made.
