Q. What is your motto or maxim?

A. Find your voice, spread your wings and fly free...

Q. If you could be anywhere in the world right now, where would you choose to be?

A. I know it's not exciting, but I'd have to say home. I love to go away, see new things, discover new places, but only as long as I can always come home.

Q. What are your 5 favorite songs?

A. This is as bad as the food question! Gahhh! My dad used to sing You Must Have Been a Beautiful Baby by Bing Crosby to me all the time. I can name a few artists that have voices and songs that move and haunt me...Karen Carpenter, Carole King and Adele. And I LOVE Broadway music--ask my college roommate.

Q. Who is your favorite fictional hero?

A. Jonah from Lois Lowry's THE GIVER--When I read that book in high school I realized that there was someone else out there that had questions like me. I'll always love Jonah and Lois for giving me that.

Q. What’s your greatest fear?

A. That something terrible will happen to my children. I don't think there is anything that could scare me as much.
