A. This is the hardest question in the world, and it will require many years of serious thought before I can give an answer.
Q. Who are your favorite authors?
A. My list of favorite kid-lit authors changes pretty often, depending on which books I've just read. But, the ones that have taken up permanent residence on ths list are M.T. Anderson, Hilary McKay, Melina Marchetta, Jacqueline Woodson, Nikki Grimes, Karen Hesse, Gary D. Schmidt, K.L. Going, and so many many many more.
