Q. What is your motto or maxim? A. Do the next thing. Q. If you could be anywhere in the world right now, where would you choose to be? A. Here in my kitchen, at the world's smallest island. Q. What’s your fantasy profession? A. Restaurant reviewer, of course. Isn't that everyone's? Q. What do you regret most? A. Not changing piano studios my freshman year at Oberlin Conservatory.
