Tom Lichtenheld has always liked cars. When he was in seventh grade, he would sit in geography class drawing pictures of Mustang and Jaguars when he was supposed to be memorizing the names of extinct countries and European explorers who got lost and discovered the wrong continent.In case you were wondering, Tom has written three other books: Everything I Know About Pirates, which was highlighted as a "Book of Wonder" by Newsweek magazine; Everything I Know About Monsters; and What Are You So Grumpy About?, which was named one of the best children's books by Child magazine.Tom lives in Illinois with his wife, Jan.
